He greets you. "Back so soon? I'm afraid that it isn't ready!"</div> <div> Dukejr01: Corren smiles, "I know. I need a new shield, some repair on my chainmail and new padding."</div> <div> Dukejr01: Corren sets the folded chainmail on the counter and show him the weakened links</div> <div> Missiledine: "Ah, well let's see what we can do for you..."</div> <div> Missiledine: "Why don't you look over our selection of shields while I show this to Master Gerlund"</div> <div> Dukejr01: "Thanks." Corren does so.</div> <div> Missiledine: Tolly takes the armor into the back while you look over the shields hanging on the wall. You can find at least one of every style</div> <div> presennt.</div> <div> Dukejr01: medium katallah style shield.</div> <div> Missiledine: It is all good or better quality</div> <div> Dukejr01: good </div> <div> Missiledine: ok</div> <div> Missiledine: </div> <div> Dukejr01: oh goody</div> <div> Missiledine: It will be about ten minutes before Tolly returns. "Master Gerlund says to come back tomorrow and the links will be replaced."</div> <div> Dukejr01: Corren nods. "Can you replace the padding as well?"</div> <div> Missiledine: "If you wish we can rush the padding you ordered, so you don't have to buy another set. But it will be a couple days."</div> <div> Dukejr01: "That will work. Being without armour makes me nervous</div> <div> Dukejr01: Corren sets the shield he selected on the counter.</div> <div> Missiledine: "I understand. We will work as quickly as possible. We already have your measurements."</div> <div> Dukejr01: "Shall I settle for the shield and repairs now?</div> <div> Missiledine: "There will be no charge for the mail repair. Master Gerlund says he wants you alive to wear the new armor you ordered."</div> <div> Dukejr01: Corren laughs. "Tell Master Gerland that I appreciate the sentiment"</div> <div> Dukejr01: Corren pays for the shield.</div> <div> Missiledine: "you have already paid for the padding... the shield is $75</div> <div> Dukejr01: okay</div> <div> Missiledine: Tolly takes the money and wishes you a good day</div> <div> Dukejr01: Corren nods and strolls outside. he will look for a scabbard for the sword next</div> <div> Missiledine: do you want leather, metal, wood or a combination? All types can be found</div> <div> Missiledine: Metal scabbards are rather awkward, but are often highly ornate</div> <div> Dukejr01: Corren wants a sturdy unadorned scabbard, metal fittings. back.</div> <div> Dukejr01: black, I mean</div> <div> Missiledine: ok, such can be purchased on this street or in the area of the leather craftsmen and tailors etc</div> <div> Dukejr01: works for me.</div> <div> Missiledine: Master Gerlund's shop could probably fit it</div> <div> Dukejr01: that would be easiest.</div> <div> Dukejr01: Corren goes to get the cloak first. and finishes his other shopping items.</div> <div> Missiledine: </div> <div> Missiledine: ok, back</div> <div> Missiledine: ok, you leave the armor smiths street and go to the tailor area? Before ordering the scabbard?</div> <div> Dukejr01: nah, lets order the scabbard, I hate to carry it around with me. I thought I might just as well have a scabbard made for this sword here."</div> <div> Dukejr01: Corren unwraps it and sets it on the counter.</div> <div> Missiledine: He will take it, look it over, measure it.. then says, "What are you looking for? Leather with metal, wood or all metal?</div> <div> Dukejr01: leather and metal. unadorned, black. I don't want it to reflect light.</div> <div> Missiledine: "How would you like the fittings? Gold? Silver? Enamel worked? Bejeweled, inlaid...or simple brass?"</div> <div> Missiledine: "Ah... very well."</div> <div> Dukejr01: Corren grins. "Simple brass."</div> <div> Missiledine: He nods, makes a note. "I think that we can have a fitted one fopr you by morning... Would you like a 'loaner' till then?"</div> <div> Dukejr01: "Yes. please"</div> <div> Missiledine: "It will be a bit big, but you shan't cut yoursel;f with it."</div> <div> Dukejr01: Corren grins .
